10AM SUNDAY MORNINGS NOW AT
Beckenham Te Kura o Pūroto
71 Sandwich Road
We believe that God has promised to put the whole world to right.
The early Christians believed that God had decisively launched this project through Jesus and that by the Spirit, they were charged with implementing and modeling this “putting to right project”, in anticipation of the day when Jesus would return to complete the task.
We are a community of people seeking to be transformed by Jesus, and to see that transformation flow into hearts, habitats, and all of humanity.
Rivers flow from the Garden of Eden throughout the entire Biblical story, displaying many aspects of the nature and character of God, and the calling and identity of God's people.
Rivers are natural gathering places that encourage connection with your soul, with others, and with creation.
We are a group of people flowing into our community, through whom others experience the living water of God.

THE RIVER
The River - Ōpāwaho been called to do Sunday ‘church’ a little differently. Our focus is becoming a community of people, through whom, others experience God in our world. God calls us to be the church, to be a blessing and to serve others.
Here’s what you need to know if you’d like to join us on a Sunday:
On the first Sunday of the month, we don’t have a “service”, instead, we GO TOGETHER - participating in different missional activities designed to serve our community and extend the Kingdom* (to make it a reality) in the hearts and habitats that we currently move in and through. To find out who is happening on GO Sundays, please scroll down for futher information.
All other Sundays we GATHER TOGETHER at 10 am, for prayer, worship, and hearing the word. There are also programmes for children 0-13 available.
